About the Recipe
Spaghetti served with a sauce made from tomatoes, minced beef, garlic, wine and herbs
Ingredients
1tsp Olive Oil
350g Minced Beef
1 Onion
1 Carrot
1 Celery Stick
2 Cloves of Garlic
400g Tinned Chopped Tomatoes
1tsp Dried Oregano
1 Bay Leaves
1tsp Tomato Puree
1 Beef Stock Cube
100ml Red Wine
300g Spaghetti
1 Parmesan Cheese
Preparation
Step 1
In a large saucepan, add the oilve oil, chop and cook the onions, carrots, celery and garlic for 5-10 until it has softened. Stir the veg often
Step 2
Add the meat to the pan and cook for 3-4 minutes until browned. Mix the tomatoes, orgeano, bay leaves, tomato puree, stock cube and wine. Stir the ingredients well and bring to the boil before simmering with a lid on for an hour
Step 3
When sauce is almost ready, cook the spaghetti for around 10 minutes following the packet instructions
Step 4
Drain the spaghetto amd serve on a plate with the Bolognese sauce on the top. Serve with grated parmesan on top.
